This same issue comes up all the time on the New York City forum; the fact that a place is listed on vrbo or any other site does not make it "legal". So if someone rents a place that they found on VRBO, and it it is listed on the city's listing of legal short term rentals, but they only want to rent it for seven days - is anyone breaking the law?
