You also kill the werewolf afterwords as he follows you out of the cave begging to be killed. Witchers kill monsters, 'nuff said.
Description
She was a bit of cunt to assume her sister would run away from the werewolf. I killed him because even though she was an idiot, he was threatening to murder her.

Please, only spoilers pertaining to the quest. If he were human wanting revenge for his wife and wanted to kill with purpose most people wouldn't even bat an eye.
How to unlock wild at heart
She didn't intend for her sister to die and she doesn't deserve to be savagely ripped to shreds. I just did the Velen side quest Wild at Heart where you investigate the disappearance of a hunter's wife.

Wild at heart location and rewards
I feel like having to live with the loss of your sister and the man you loved is punishment. I decided to treat him like I would a human. Things went wrong and the husband who has no memory of any of his transformations killed his wife. They understand them and deal with a problem if one arises. I know this is late I went looking for thre about this quest now that I finished it and I'm glad I found someone else who thought about it the same way I did. I was satisfied with how it turned out.

Just because he was in werewolf form doesn't mean he lost his humanity, he can still talk and have human emotions. What she did was stupid, but not inherently malicious.

You can let him or kill him. This side quest wasn't as big as I thought.

Posted by 6 years ago. While the younger sister didn't intend harm, it is her fault that all of this happened. I let him kill her.

Seems to me like the problem was the sister. Knowing that the wife would never accept her husband the way he is, she arranged to reveal his secret by luring the wife to the cave underneath her husband's woodlands cabin where he locks himself to wait out the change.

After wounding the werewolf the sister comes clean, her brother-in-law threatens to kill her, the his first ever intentional kill. Also, she was crazy I did feel bad for having to kill Neilan though, seemed like a nice guy trying to control his problem.

You find out that he is a warewolf and while his wife didn't know her sister who has always loved the hunter did. Sort by: best. I killed him.

I killed the werewolf For me, I wanted the lady to suffer. I had more sympathy for him. And just before you leave the guy still in werewolf form stops you and asks you to put an end to his life. Witcher don't just kill monsters in my opinion.
